Some great stuff here from before I signed up, especially the Israeli Judicial Reforms piece (and Kahanism feels like a "need to know" theme of 2023, with NatCons and all).

I hope it helps, Claire. It’s a treat to read your writing even though I often disagree with you. The quality of your prose is simply amazingly good. What’s also amazing is the quality of the writing of your occasional contributors like Vivek Kelkar and Adam Garfinkle. Thank you for providing a forum for Thomas Gregg who is also a very gifted writer.
If I taught a college level class on expository writing, the Cosmopolitan Globalist would be required reading for all of my students.
WigWag, as it happens, we are developing a college class in which CG will be required reading. We're not ready for a formal announcement, but I'm working on it!

The Cosmopolitan Globalist is the best site on Substack! It may be one of the best sites anywhere. In the New York Times each year, David Brooks announces the winners of the “Sidney Awards” which celebrate the best essays of the year. Sadly for Mr. Brooks he must not be a CG subscriber. If he was, many of the essays that appear here would be Sidney Award winners.

Convinced, now a paid subscriber. Some great articles here, and all well-written. I look forward to reading more in 2024!
Thank you! Welcome! We're so glad to have you. There's lots more good stuff in the archives, too.

Thank you *so* much--I just turned this comment into a sales ad, too.
This is a great selection. Thanks Claire. Happy New Year.
And you!
