My cousin Eliot was a photographer. He was with the army when we liberated Paris from the Nazis, and took a photo of two French girls standing on a bridge with smiles a mile wide, filled with sheer joy.
I'm seeing that same smile in some photos coming in from Kherson now.
Why are Democrats supporting Ukraine?
