I’m now creating a “Thread,” as opposed to a “Post.” I’m not sure what difference is. The site says, “Tip: Write something tweet-length (1-3 sentences) that encourages general discussion.”
Would this encourage public discussion, do you think?
It’s a video of my father, interviewed by two lovely young Ahmadi Muslims, about such questions as “Can the universe exist without God? Does Darwinism make sense? Is artificial intelligence really a threat?” I thought it was a delightful portrait of my father and his interlocutors.
Why would I use this “Thread” format, though, as opposed to the “Post” format? Can anyone tell what’s different or special about it? I can’t.
Creating a thread just means using the + button to link your posts. You already do it a lot, as do I. The idea is that waxing on longer (which again you do anyway) will create a larger pool of replies.

Agreed, delightful! Not that concerned about the exact format but intrigued by the notion of extended content a la Berlinski.
