Lt Col, we may have a few disagreements, but to call the President "notoriously optimistic" is the most painful. He can be many things, but to call him an optimist is a dodge. He's optimistic when it soothes the mob. He's pessimistic when it riles them. This isn't optimist, this is opportunism.
