Lai Ching-te, the “pure saboteur of peace” and “obstinate separatist" will be Taiwan's new president.

Taiwanese vice-president Lai Ching-te—the candidate China has been loudly denouncing as a dangerous separatist—has squeaked through to victory in the Taiwanese presidential election. China said this is an election between “war and peace.” (“War” just won. But I bet Beijing was just bluffing when it said that.)
