An antisemitic Lynch mob descended upon Israelis in Dagestan:

Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters broke into Makhachkala airport, in Russia’s north Caucasus region on Sunday evening, searching for passengers on a flight from Tel Aviv, according to local media and videos posted on social media. Videos show the rioters, some of whom are draped in Palestinian flags, searching the airport for Jews and storming the airport’s tarmac surrounding a plane with Israelis on it. Airport staff reportedly told the crowd to pick three leaders to board the plane with a camera to ensure there are no Israelis on it. Videos further show terrified Israelis being asked to flee the tarmac and re-board the plane.

Russia blamed Ukraine for the attempted pogrom at the airport in Dagestan:

“The criminal Kyiv regime played a direct and key role in carrying out the latest destructive act,” Russia’s foreign affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said … The Kremlin said earlier on Monday the riot was the result of “external interference” and President Vladimir Putin convened a meeting of Russia’s security officials to discuss “Western attempts to divide Russian society.”Zakharova said the “promptness” and “content” of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s reaction to the riot “are direct evidence of the information-sabotage being carried out by Kyiv’s special forces.” On Sunday, Zelensky had said the riot was not an “isolated incident in Makhachkala, but part of Russia’s widespread culture of hatred toward other nations, propagated by state television, pundits, and the authorities.”
