Vivek barely mentioned Turkey’s interest in all of this; perhaps he (or Claire) might comment about it. Vivek did mention how China might be interested in Central Asian stability due to its own concerns about Islamic extremism. Given the explosion in the demographics of Russian Muslims and the implosion in the demographics of Christian Russians, does Central Asian stability ( or lack thereof ) the impact Russian concern about Islamic extremism?
