ABC News: A “senior American official,” says Israel was targeting the air defense radar system that protects the Natanz nuclear facility. The official said, “The first assessment is that the strike took out the site, but assessment hasn’t been completed.” The official also said that the strike was meant to send a signal to Iran about Israeli capabilities without escalating the situation.
