Bernie is a Socialist. Anytime we see something like this from his ilk, we can safely assume it's a ploy to make him seem reasonable. These concerns are real, though I think a little overblown. The problem is that he is using these concerns, and his call for a pause on AI, only in the US, of course, to further leverage AI companies into giving themselves to the state. This is a big beef I have with Trump taking stock in companies like it's a normal thing to do.
